Established in 1997, the Lanarkshire Songwriters Group come together to share songs and stories in an informal evening of music and discussion.

Write, perform and record your songs

Professional, semi-professional and complete beginners are encouraged to come along and participate in musical projects and learn from one anothers experiences of songwriting and performing in a wide genre of styles including contemporary, blues, country and traditional.

Songwriters young and old have shared stories, experiences, advice and knowledge of songwriting, encouraging one another and those seeking to improve their skills as musicians and crafters of song.

 

 

 

Where are we?

We meet up the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 8pm in the Auld Stanehoose Cafe, 4-5 The Cross, Stonehouse, Larkhall, ML9 3LQ. From here songwriters young and old have shared stories, experiences , advice and knowledge of songwriting in encouraging one another and those seeking to improve their skills as musicians and crafters of song.
